Thank you for visiting the official website of Carl Photography—a pet-friendly indoor and outdoor studio in Boiling Springs, PA. You can count on us to help you immortalize precious moments with your pets and family in photos.

What We Do

Carl Photography specializes in providing clients with the family and pet photography they need. We try to create lasting memories to keep and pass down as heirlooms, such as metal prints that will endure for generations. We understand that your pets are family members, which is why we are passionate about capturing the love and loyalty between you and your furry friends.

Aside from families and pets, we offer children’s photo sessions, professional headshots and commercial work.

At our studio, you can experience the advantage of working with professionals who offer great rates. We can handle all of the details of your shoot: unique posing, artistic lighting, subtle retouching, and special artwork.

Complete photo editing is included, with a wide choice of background changes. We bring out the best in everyone's appearance and erase distractions such as pet handlers.

We absolutely guarantee that you will have an enjoyable experience, while we deliver personalized service and produce tasteful portraits! For examples, please review our Testimonials and Portfolios pages.

Studio sessions are priced at $20 per subject. Examples of print prices are $19 for one 5x7, or $39 for an 8x10. Discount packages are available.

About Us

Pet-Family Studio

We have lovely outdoor posing areas and hundreds of painted and scenic backgrounds. In one week's time, we: (1) create unique portraits at your posing session, where you'll review the images and place your order for prints; (2) post proofs online, for you to check our artwork; and (3) finish your prints. No advance consultation is needed.

Craig Carl

Craig Carl went through rigorous testing and evaluation of his technical competence and artistic proficiency to earn the Certified Professional Photographer designation in 2007 from the Professional Photographic Certification Commission. He has enjoyed a lifetime passion for photography. Craig and Vicki have served on the Board of Directors for the Professional Photographers Assn. of PA.

Vicki Carl

Vicki Carl has been our creative director since 2004. She has a genuine interest in people and earned a Bachelor of Social Work degree at Shippensburg University. It is amazing how easily she can capture artistic-but-realistic, fun-yet-dignified portraits while arranging graceful poses and beautiful sets. She captures the natural dignity of animals and portrays children as they will enjoy remembering themselves.
